There was a minor upset when their close opponent BritishLondon Drive (0-4) was rolled over at home by first ranked Latvian Marupes (7-1) 109-35 on Sunday. The game without a history. Marupes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding London Drive to just 3 points in fourth quarter and to 13 points in second half. Marupes held London Drive to an opponent 20.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 64.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Marupes forced 21 London Drive turnovers and outrebounded them 53-20 including a 42-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Marupes looked well-organized offensively handing out 43 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by London Drive 's players.
